Parent Teacher Union

The PTU organization is a vital part of St. Ambrose School. It provides many ways in which parents can assist in the education of their children and their understanding between home and school. Its support is invaluable to the St. Ambrose School community and the educational success of the student body.

The purpose of this organization is to bring into closer relationship the parents and teachers of this school, that they may cooperate intelligently and respectfully in promoting the spiritual and temporal welfare of the children of St. Ambrose School.

PTU sponsored activities include Donuts for Dad, Muffins with Mom, Indoor Carnival, Special Person's Day, and Field Day. Please refer to the red PTU booklet that each family received at the beginning of the school year for a complete list of committees and volunteer opportunities.

The PTU Leadership Team is made up of the Pastor, school principal, a teacher, and parents of our school children who are discerned to function as team members.  Members’ terms are either 2 or 3 years.  The PTU Leadership Team hosts quarterly meetings.  This year's meetings are October 20, 2011, January 19, 2012, and April 19, 2012.  These meetings are open to all members of the PTU.  Please join us!
