Congratulations to TESSA BRO– USEK – grade 3 and ALEXIAH BRYAN – grade 3 who have been chosen as one of the BEST 100 (8 year old) TOPS gymnast in the country.  They have the opportunity to move onto National testing in Huntsville, Texas and compete at the Olympic Gymnastics Training Center on October 2nd4th.  This is one the HIGHEST honors a gymnast can receive by USAG gymnastics in the nation for gymnastic physical abilities and skills.  This is where the 8 year old gymnasts will be testing and training in October.  https://usagym.org/PDFs/Women/trainingcenter/tctour.pdf

Congratulations to Ben Emerson, a fourth grade student, for winning the Fall 2015 Essay Scholarship in the amunt of $500 from the St. Colette’s Holy Name Society.

Congratulations to St. Ambrose School alumnus, ANDREW BAJUSZ class of 2011 and a senior at St Ignatius HS who was named an AP scholar due to his scores on his AP (College Level/Credit) exams. His St Ambrose education prepared him well for the rigorous classes at St Ignatius.

Congratulations to TESSA BRO– USEK and ALEXIAH BRYAN students at Saint Ambrose School who were featured on Channel 5 News.com and The Medina Gazette.  They have been named to the USAG National Gymnastics DIAMOND TEAM ( 7 year olds), which is the TOP 50 seven year olds in the country.  These 7 year olds have the opportunity to attend a national training camp in December in Houston, TX at the USA National Team training center.  The following links explain the program they dedicate themselves to all year long and also where the gymnasts will be testing and training.

Congratulations to ANDREW TITTERINGTON, Grade 3, for winning the St. Colette Holy Name Society Scholarship Award in the amount of $500.00.

Congratulations to LILY PAPINEAU, a first grade student at Saint Ambrose School, who is competing this year in the USSA Ski division, which is similar to the pre-Olympic track.  She is in the U-8 division and competing in 3 different ski race courses (Kombi, slalom and GS).   This past weekend, Lily placed 1st in all three race courses.  Way to go Lily!!!

 

Congratulations to JOHNNY KYLE  who had an outstanding hockey season this past winter. Based on his individual performance he has been nominated by his teams coaching staff to participate at the Mite level in the 17th Annual All-Star Extravaganza Hockey Exhibition! He is one of a select few players nominated by his coaches to represent his team.
This All-Star game will take place:  Saturday, March 7,  at the Alice Noble Ice Arena in Wooster TBA
