About our Preschool

Welcome to Littlest Angels Preschool!

Our program strives to create an atmosphere of Christian love and concern which promotes the healthy development of each child.  We provide learning experiences and play activities that encourage spiritual, intellectual, social and physical growth.  Our forty four year olds and thirty-two three year olds are embracing all that our program has to offer!  It is wonderful to see them demonstrate cooperative behaviors such as helping, taking turns, sharing, comforting and compromising.  They are coming to know that God gives us great gifts every day! We are all specially made and loved by God!  We are on our way to becoming life- long learners and lovers of education!  Our children are engaged in literacy, math, music, science, social studies, art, religion and physical education daily.

In our preschool, children participate in many prayer experiences.  The Catholic preschool program fosters the awakening of the Christian conscience in the children by leading them to appreciate God’s goodness, value God’s world and the people in it, learn self-discipline, form good habits and share with those in need. The program engages children in activities that nurture kindness, honesty, forgiveness and concern for others.

As we enter into this season of autumn, may we be mindful of all of God’s blessings.  Take some time to enjoy the cooler air, the beautiful sunrise and sunset, and the vibrate colors on the trees.  I am reminded of one of my favorite fall poems:

GOD IS ORANGE    ( Father Peter Damian)

Orange has no rhyming words in the English language,

So the word is unique, just as God is unique.

Orange is made up of two colors, RED and YELLOW.

Red stands for the fire of the Holy Spirit, and yellow stands for the Light of Christ.

These two colors come together and form a third color.

Thus, orange is a mystery, like the mystery of our God as the Trinity:

Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Science has discovered that orange is the only color that

Does not disappear or fade into the atmosphere.

Therefore, it is always with us, just as God is always with us.

So take notice of the presence of orange all around you as you come and go in God’s world.

As you find orange, remember that God is truly there with you.

Autumn Blessings,
